TL;DR: What did I make, in one sentence?
Why:
I always enjoyed Pinballs and Arcade machines. With emulating, I thought it would be fun to build such a thing on my own!
Learned:
Even if you get the case pre-cut, filling everything with life and putting the decals on the outside were really a bit of work.

Result:
The bartop is fully functional and occasionally I play a round of good old games with friends. There is a small glitch, though - every time I turn it on I have to disconnect the speakers because there is a constant bumping coming through the speakers. I never figured out why.
