TL;DR: The idea was to create a blog, which doesn’t hold simple screenshots, but panoramas created from a collection of screenshots.
Why:
Was a cool idea to create some kind of publicly available, good looking, panoramic screenshots which could be viewed as 3D in browser.
Learned:
The effort to get screenshots right in-game, and then stitch them together and then promote all of this - it was just a much bigger thing than what I intended to do. See for yourself in the images - there are black bars and missing parts; and that is when I realized how big an effort (without tooling to do the screens) it would be to generate content for this page.
